CBC Health Federation is looking to recruit a highly organised and motivated Governance Support Officer to work with our Quality and Governance Lead. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting governance frameworks and ensuring high standards of patient care through effective administrative and coordination practices.
As a Governance Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the governance team by coordinating meetings, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in the implementation of governance processes and policies. Your attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities will help ensure the delivery of high-quality services across the organisation.
The role is part time 22.5 hours per week ideally worked across five days and predominantly on-site with some flexibility to work from home.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will provide advice, guidance and signposting in relation to all aspects of information governance. They will be a highly organised individual, with the ability to work flexibly between competing demands to tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent time management and recordkeeping skills. The postholder will support the organisation in key legislation such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act, the Data Security and Protection Toolkit and risk management framework. The postholder will be responsible for the coordination and timely response to all governance related matters and may be required to deputise for the Quality and Governance Lead in their absence.
