Job Description
The Global Industry Marketing Manager - Manufacturing (MFG) requires a robust understanding of the manufacturing industry, and someone who is not afraid to think differently, contributing to the growth of our organization in a variety of ways as they build marketing programs and support targeted sales activity. You will play an integral role in regional industry demand generation planning and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies. The ideal individual will be a pragmatic, intuitive hands-on marketer, capable of handling multiple projects at once and able to act on their own initiative.

2. Act as marketing and industry adviser to regional marketing and sales teams, partnering with them to deliver a differentiated market position for IFS that meets our growth and revenue targets.
3. Connect strongly with relevant industry experts to understand the pain points, issues and topics to feature in campaigns and messaging. Act as the central hub for industry marketing ensuring that best practices and knowledge are shared and leveraged around the globe: representing marketing as a subject matter expert.
4. Accountable for developing an annual demand generation plan and delivering industry focused end-to-end marketing programs that build IFS’s brand reputation and deliver profitable revenue—programs that address the business challenges of our clients, fulfil our pipeline needs and raise the external profile of IFS across the industry sector.
5. Partner with regional marketing to plan and support their execution of centrally generated programs such as demand generation campaigns, webinar programs, etc.
6. Design and manage production of high value short and long form content - including advertising, direct mail, event toolkits, digital content, webinars and social media messaging - that supports regional customer acquisition and revenue goals.
7. Provide innovative approaches that reach customers and build relationships. Develop and implement an appropriate mix of activities that highlight IFS’s positioning and knowledge in the sector.
8. Analyze, monitor, measure, and report on campaign effectiveness aligned to key metrics such as marketing influenced revenue, qualified sales leads, campaign performance. Share a performance dashboard with stakeholders, supporting the optimization and fine tuning of campaigns.
9. Create and execute account-based marketing initiatives.
10. Act as the industry specialist for IFS’s flagship customer event – Unleashed. Responsible for developing the content schedule and industry zone theme. As well as supporting the event team in creating messaging to drive awareness and attendance from your industry.
11. Champion the IFS brand–bringing it to life specifically in your industry area, via solutions, customers and partners.
12. Provide Product Marketing with industry specific knowledge to support the creation of product-centric value based messaging.
Qualifications
Essential :
13. Min. 2 years’ experience in working in, or marketing to, one or more sub-segments of the manufacturing industry.
14. Min. 5 years’ experience in B2B marketing.
15. Deep and demonstrable understanding of the industry’s business issues, with a focus on technology and how it solves them.
16. Excellent understanding of online marketing platforms and how they can be used effectively to source, nurture and accelerate prospect’s sales journeys.
17. Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing, Engineering, or a related business field (or relevant training/experience)
Desirable :
18. Experience in a similar role within a software technology organisation
19. Experience working within a global, virtual environment.
20. Experience developing and executing ABM programs.
