Pestokill, a UK subsidiary of Anticimex, is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and dedicated Management Accountant to join our dynamic and expanding team.
As a part of the Anticimex family, a global leader in the pest control industry, we have set ambitious objectives to increase our revenue over the next three years through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to contribute to our ongoing success and help drive this growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Preparing and reviewing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
* Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and liaising with external auditors.
* Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and business growth.
* Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Supporting the UK Finance Director in strategic projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, process improvements, and system implementations.
* Supervising and mentoring junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve strategic objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Part/Fully Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent) or QBE (Qualified by Experience) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis, with a focus on month-end close processes.
* Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, preferably in a multi-national organisation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial systems.
