4. Generating multiple leads across the UK, converting and closing deals to secure near-term revenue streams across merchant, industrial, and mobility markets.
5. Selling hydrogen and associated products and services.
6. Identifying, securing, and managing longer-term partnerships to secure return sales, strengthening revenue forecasts and cash flows.
7. Negotiating and securing future revenues through heads of terms and long-term supply contracts.
8. Market understanding and business growth.
Key Requirements and Skills
1. Previous industry experience – ideally selling Hydrogen or industrial gases – 2+ years.
2. Previous experience as a Sales Engineer – nice to have but not essential.
3. Good understanding of hydrogen markets, drivers, and routes to market.
4. Demonstrable experience of generating, closing deals, and managing longer-term relationships.
5. Ability to work under their own initiative; a self-starter.
6. Master problem solver with a customer-centric world view.
7. Good relationship management and interpersonal skills for establishing trust and building relationships with clients.
8. Tender process experience – nice to have but not essential.
