Position Overview:
As a Composite Laminator you will be an integral part of our production team, responsible for crafting high-quality composite components used in the automotive and aerospace sectors. This role demands precision and a keen eye for detail, as you will exclusively work with pre-preg materials to ensure the utmost quality and performance of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Composite Lamination: Utilize your expertise in laminating techniques to lay up and bond pre-preg composite materials following established procedures.
2. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to verify the quality, thickness, and integrity of composite laminates, making necessary adjustments as needed.
3. Material Handling: Safely handle and store pre-preg materials, ensuring proper storage conditions and minimizing waste.
4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in a collaborative environment to meet production schedules and maintain a smooth workflow.
5. Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team members.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Composite Laminator in the automotive or aerospace industry.
2. Proficiency in working with pre-preg composite materials.
3. Strong knowledge of composite lamination techniques and processes.
4. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills.
7. Team player with strong communication skills.
This is a full time permanent position, mon – fri 8:00-5, offering an annual salary up to 35k plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
