Description
The Financial Controller based from Chiswick will have overall responsibility for the financial control of the UK legal entity, ensuring the execution of all management and statutory financial accounting, taxation, foreign exchange management, cash flow management, capital expenditure and all related regulatory compliance:
1. Ownership and execution of all financial control for the legal entity under your responsibility, for both management and statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory standards and reporting requirements.
2. Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
3. Annual consolidation packs.
4. Statutory annual financial statements.
5. Regulatory returns including VAT returns, corporation tax, payroll and related.
6. Transfer pricing documentation.
7. Corporate secretarial governance and compliance.
8. Key business partner, engaging with the business and shared services to ensure that all operating procedures and policies are maintained, applied and respected.
9. Actively manage, support, develop and encourage teamwork among direct reports so that all financial responsibilities are met in a timely manner.
10. Support, review and ensure compliance in the accounting functions performed by the shared services in Prague and Kuala Lumpur.
11. Ownership and monthly control of all balance sheet, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and intercompany balances ensuring processes and compliance reviews in place to avoid risk of financial exposure.
12. Engage with and manage relationships with external auditors, banks and tax consultants.
13. Ensure proper functioning of treasury relationships to ensure that cash holding and cash flow targets are achieved, including cash flow reporting and management.
14. Manage the foreign exchange exposure, including both balance sheet and cash flow hedging ensuring that exposure and forex impacts are minimized, correctly interpreted, analysed and reported.
Profile
1. You must be a Qualified Accountant.
2. A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
3. Experience in a similar role.
4. Excellent knowledge of Excel.
5. Prerequisite interpersonal skills to represent and lead the financial control function, develop and manage a team.
6. Able to work under pressure, adapt to change, deliver results with conflicting demands and observe deadlines.
7. Person with drive for improvement and excellence.
8. Hands-on with day-to-day operations.
9. Be independent and firm, at the same time a team player.
10. Effective written and oral communication skills.

Job Offer
Salary Range: £85,000 - £95,000 depending on experience.
BONUS: up to two months' salary based on company and individual performance.
Hybrid Working: the role requires 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
