Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Team Manager/Head of Centre, Leaders is seeking a Property Inventory Clerk to join our dedicated and dynamic team based in Southampton. Experience is beneficial but not essential. You will be responsible for carrying out detailed inventory reports to ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes for tenants and landlords, as well as mid-term inspections to maintain property standards. While working within a team, the role will predominantly involve independent work, so confidence in working autonomously is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Arrange and book property inspections with tenants, conducting approximately 15 inspections or 5-10 inventories daily.
2. Confirm visits prior to attendance.
3. Collect and return keys from local offices.
4. Conduct inspections, checking:
* External condition of properties
* Communal areas (if applicable)
* Internal condition
* Compliance with current legislation
* Property safety and risk assessments
1. Complete inspection reports and manage approval processes.
2. Report maintenance issues to the property manager.
3. Submit reports to landlords and tenants, including written summaries and follow-up calls if issues are noted.
4. Schedule follow-up actions for the property manager.
