This is a new role and the successful postholder will lead on creating and embedding a strategic approach for UKSA across its policy, planning and delivery activities. This role will operate across the UKSA system to support effective delivery, supporting the Authority Board, the Chief Executive, and the Director General of the Office for Statistics Regulation in achieving all strategic aims of UKSA. You will also manage the private offices which support our leaders.
The role requires horizon scanning and providing thought leadership on how UKSA and its priorities should continue to evolve through the next spending review period and beyond and ensuring that the statistics genuinely serve the public interest. You will be responsible for making strategy, but also delivering and monitoring the effectiveness of that strategy too, fostering a culture of excellence and strategic foresight.
