KS1 Teacher with QTS

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a vibrant and dynamic primary school in Bromley. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching young children, have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, and be committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages pupils to achieve their full potential.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs and abilities of all students.
* Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support pupil development and well-being.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and policies.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* A clear DBS check.
Desirable:
* Experience in a similar role within a diverse and multicultural school setting.
* Additional qualifications or training relevant to primary education.
* Experience using modern educational technology in the classroom.
