Property Surveying Manager – 1x Permanent Full-Time position available

This role is permanent with a starting salary of £52,112 a year, rising to £54,580 after key competencies of the role are met. As we expand to meet demand there are opportunities for career growth in many technical and management directions so there is room for you to forge your perfect job.
Criteria for Role:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
* Project Management qualifications or relevant experience
* Demonstrable 2 years' experience of leading a successful team
* Demonstrable 5 years' technical experience working with Whole Stock Assessments, Stock condition surveys, Domestic Energy Assessments, NHF and Scheduling, value engineering projects
About the role:
This role is responsible for leading a team of surveyors and technical experts to provide high quality survey data and surveys to inform our stock data and compliance with legislation and performance standards
Some of the duties of a Property Surveying Manager include:
* Leading a high performing Building Surveying team, delivering consistently on set targets and KPIs to allow for the delivery of our WHQS 23 programme and decarbonisation journey.
* Working closely with the Asset Manager to develop the Whole Stock Assessment and Target Energy Pathway in line with the budgetary constraints and parameters of the organisation's 30 Year Business Plan.
* Being the subject matter expert on domestic building defects analysis and building performance failure through comprehensive building pathology techniques and Party Wall Act.
* Collaborating and influencing internal teams to provide an integrated approach to the building surveying function across the organisation.
* Collaborating with industry subject matter experts to understand best practices within the sector, e.g. compliance with PAS2035 and the building regulations when delivering fabric-based improvement measures.
