We are excited to announce the opening of a brand-new Options Autism schools in County Durham, designed to provide exceptional education and support for pupils with a variety of needs, including Autism.
Trimdon Hill School, located in Durham, will cater to 40 pupils aged 4 to 11 years and is set to open in June 2025. We are currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teacher to join the team and help shape the future of this school, with a start date in September 2025.
* Job Role: School Administrator
* Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience (not pro rata)
* Location: Durham, North East, TS29 6EY
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About the role
As a School Administrator, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the school office, providing support in a number of areas ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school reception.
Duties include, but not limited to:
* Complete front desk reception duties, including greeting visitors and answering calls
* Liaising and reporting to the office manager and the headteacher in some instances
* Access and manage student records using the in house system
* Assist with attendance records and maintaining accurate pupil data
* Coordinate meetings, appointments, and school events
* Support with administrative needs of school staff, such as photocopying, filing, data entry and all other correspondence
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Previous experience as a School Administrator or within a similar environment is essential
* Willingness to adapt and learn
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Ability to work alone but also as part of a fast paced team
* Proficient Microsoft Office skills
