We have an exciting opportunity for an individual who has previous or current relevant experience to provide warehouse supervision duties. This role will be within a health and social care jointly funded community equipment stores environment.
The Community Equipment Service provides a vital role in supporting the Islands vulnerable community. We are seeking expressions of interest from those that can demonstrate a customer focused approach, and who can provide leadership and support in our warehouse functions. The candidate would need to demonstrate their enthusiasm, hardworking approach, flexibility and commitment to working in a busy community equipment team; and provide supervision, oversee improvements to the operations and the way the service is provided.
Duties will include:
* To be responsible for the maintenance of the warehouse and the day-to-day health and safety requirements
* To be responsible for stock management, ensuring deliveries are processed in a timely manner and to provide accurate information on stock levels as requested
* To be up to date on latest technical industry developments and to provide information and training on technical, operational and maintenance of a range of community equipment.
* To maintain CES systems to ensure all data is accurate and to recommend improvement in procedures/processes and support the delivery of any changes
* To undertake line management duties for the Delivery & Decontamination teams, providing resilience and support where necessary
The successful applicant will be a capable leader with excellent communication skills, highly motivated, flexible, be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude and good ICT skills.

* Effective warehouse stock management and developing processes
* Understanding of Health & Safety and warehouse maintenance requirements
