We have exciting opportunities available to join the Urology team as a Patient Pathway Administrator. Positions are based at either the Churchill Hospital (Headington) or the Horton Hospital (Banbury).
As a Patient Pathway Administrator, you will work closely with our clinical teams to support the delivery of excellent care to our patients. Your day-to-day role will involve interacting with patients and clinical teams, performing administrative tasks such as booking clinic appointments, scheduling patients for operating theatre lists, and processing clinic letters for our consultant and nursing teams.

Main duties of the job
* Provide primary administrative support to consultants, clinical staff, and patients.
* Produce clinical correspondence using Trust digital transcription systems.
* Monitor patient pathways and escalate concerns to management.
* Monitor urgent investigation requests to ensure proper processing.
* Assist in arranging patients for elective access procedures.
* Maintain accurate and current patient details using Trust electronic systems.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Understand 18 weeks referral to treatment (RTT) rules and apply them to manage elective patient pathways effectively. Ensure Trust systems are updated with patient pathway status information and maintain data quality.
Liaise with internal and external colleagues to share patient pathway information and expedite patient journeys as needed.
Demonstrate high levels of customer care and maintain effective working relationships with clinical, nursing, and administrative staff.
Answer all telephone calls in a timely manner and maintain patient confidentiality.
Be flexible in your work approach, covering other roles as needed and varying working hours to ensure service coverage.
