In this role you will use your German daily and focus on building brand awareness in the DACH region, connecting with farm owners and introducing the innovative new technology that will make their farms more productive and profitable. The company is dedicated to animal welfare and the new technology that you will introduce to a new audience, underpins this emphasis on care and also on sustainability You will be working from a leads list of thousands of contacts, as well as from new leads coming in from Trade Shows and from general inbound enquiries. Full training is offered ( you will visit farms to see the technology in-action too) Duties Reporting to the Sales Director and in an international team of 5 you will : Lead generation/cold calling : Proactively Identify, qualify, and engage potential farm owners/clients You will be working to targets of 10 appointments per week ( this translates to about 30 outbound dials per day to farm owners) Attendance at trade shows in Germany and the UK in order to building strong relationships with customers, put a " face to the name" and generate referrals Work with the marketing team and create direct marketing campaigns to help support BD efforts Appointment setting for the field-based sales team in Germany and the wider DACH area. Requirements Experienced in outbound sales, telesales, lead generation or business development roles. Fluent German ; other languages like Polish, Czech, Dutch, or Danish are a plus. Own transport.
