SEND Teacher Special school 8:30am - 3:15pm KS2 Class Complex Needs & SLD Full teaching responsibilities Planning own lessons We are working closely with a brilliant special school in the Forest of Dean that are on the lookout for a teacher to lead a KS2 class of Complex Needs & SLD students. The school are well established in the area and are very proud of the important work they do for the community. The role The role the school has available is for a KS2 class. The class is currently being covered by an HLTA at the school, so in terms of a start date - the school are open to waiting for the right candidate (though and ASAP start would be ideal). This role would be a full-time teaching post, so you will be expected to lead a class of 8 students as well as planning of your lessons. You will be ably supported by 3 TA's in the class who know the students very well. Though the students are a KS2 age, they will follow the KS 1 curriculum model. Due to the needs of the students, you must have worked with SEN students before, you would also hold a QTS preferably.
