We are recruiting several Visiting Officers, based across the district. The successful applicants will assist the Housing Officer’s to deliver a consistent, excellent, reliable, customer focussed Housing Management service and will therefore be involved in the planning, co-ordinating and undertaking of tenancy audits, visiting all properties within an agreed timeframe to build our business intelligence of the people and properties we manage. A typical day of a Visiting Officer would be spent visiting our customers at their properties in an attempt to verify the information held on record for the household, undertake an inspection and identify any support needs to help our customers maintain their homes, whilst checking for tenancy fraud. Main duties and responsibilities: Case manage and maintain accurate case management and other administrative records. Undertake tenancy audits to identify support needs, and breaches of tenancy and cases of tenancy fraud and support the Housing officer to investigate and tackle these issues. Assist with the carrying out of surveys, site visits and inspections, collation of data and production and presentation of reports. Undertake programmed and responsive tenancy visits to properties as directed. Will carry out activity that supports enforcement action. The role holder will be the customer ambassador for the company, responsible for delivering and setting the standards for exceptional customer service delivery, so excellent communication skills are essential. You will step in when things go wrong for customers, taking ownership in resolving ongoing issues or complaints when required. You will pay a pivotal role in helping achieve our vision of delivering a great customer experience. Due to the nature of the role, only drivers will be considered for this position. The intention is for the postholder to work predominately from home however, it is a requirement to attend our offices or sites within Warwick District as required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate.
