This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a large number of sites across Scotland. Now that they've established themselves as the leading producer of renewable fuels in Scotland, they're starting to go through the next phase of their growth which has seen them open up additional offices in London to support their growth into England as well as into other territories such as Europe and the USA. They are also beginning to expand into other areas of Renewable Energy such as Solar PV and Wind.
In this role you will be based at one of the company's main plants in Scotland where you will help to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable running of a large-scale biogas plant. This will involve duties such as the operation of mobile plant, the loading and unloading of materials and deliveries, and general housekeeping duties around site. You will also be able to further train on the maintenance side of things under the guidance of experience Engineers, as well as gaining mobile plant tickets if not already qualified.
The ideal candidate will either have a qualification in an engineering discipline gained at school or college, or will have some hands-on experience in mechanical works (such as from pipefitting, mechanics etc), or they will have previous experience in plant operation and will have clear motivation to upskill and develop.

The role:
* Operating mobile plant such as telehandlers, snow ploughs, fork lift trucks
* Loading and unloading of materials and deliveries to site
* Ensuring the site is kept in a good condition in line with regulatory requirements
* Supporting with general administrative duties supporting with stockkeeping & delivery receival
* Undertaking training in and assisting with maintenance activities
The person:
* Either holding an engineering qualification, or experienced in plant operation or basic mechanics
* Clean driving license
* Good IT skills
* Comfortable engaging in physically demanding work
* An interest in undertaking further continuous training telehandler operation, maintenance etc.
