Qualifications
* BDS or equivalent
* Registration with GDC
* NHSE Performer List number
* Not subject to open or ongoing Performer Investigation
* Postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Dentistry
* Five years post-graduate clinical activity
* Experience with special care patients
* Experience of clinical audit
* Handling confidential and sensitive information
* Collaboration with healthcare professionals
* Competency in conscious sedation techniques
* Treating patients under General Anaesthesia
* Delivery of domiciliary dental care
* Mentoring or Clinical Supervisor experience
* Expertise in Special Care Dentistry
* Understanding of physiology and medical conditions affecting dentistry
* Knowledge of NHS guidelines in sedation, special care, and paediatric dentistry
* Basic Life Support and emergency leadership skills
* Knowledge of local NHS service structures
* Legislative knowledge for oral healthcare in England
* Strong knowledge of clinical and restorative dentistry
* Immediate Life Support/Paediatric Immediate Life Support certification
* Knowledge of communication methods with anxious patients
