Paralegal Apprentice
Salary: £18,000 per annum
Location: Stoneleigh, Warwickshire with agile working
Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Purpose of the role & how you will contribute
This is a fantastic opportunity to start out on a new career path, with the chance to complete a legal 3 paralegal apprenticeship. There will be plenty of opportunities to become involved in various in-house legal work and compliance projects on behalf of the NFU, helping the NFU to understand and mitigate its legal risks. This could be assisting the corporate legal advisers with drafting a document or reviewing a contract, through to attending legal advice meetings or conducting legal research.
On completion of the 2-year course, you will be entitled to join a paralegal register, and you may have the opportunity to progress to higher levels of legal training.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is conscientious, self-motivated and professional. As this is an apprenticeship, knowledge of law or legal training is not required, but an interest in commercial law and an aspiration to pursue a legal career are essential. You will work alongside colleagues at many different levels, so teamworking, communication, and interpersonal skills are key.
