Senior manager

This is a cracking role. Halliday Marx have partnered with a Top 50 accounting practice to recruit a Senior Manager. This is a permanent role to work closely with the partner and the Investment team. This role is less Audit focused, but is more focused on Managing a portfolio of clients and managing a team of 5.

This role is 3 days a week in the office, 2 from home.

Responsibilities;

* Leading on an allocated portfolio to ensure that all deliverables are met in a timely manner.
* Working alongside Partner and helping them manage their European portfolio
* Managing and training team of 4 people
* Dealing with technical accounting/tax queries from clients.
* Business structuring for new or current clients.
* Liaising with European clients and being the main point of contact
* Working with teams around the office on certain projects, troubleshooting or ad hoc basis.
* Service and fee proposals for new clients.
* Assisting with internal matters.
* Accounts review/analysis

Non Negotiable Requirements;

* UK Practice experience
* Experience working in a European country
* Payroll / P11D experience
* Fluent in a European language
* Understanding of Cross border VAT
