Description Regional Estates Manager – South of England. Salary: c£45,800 per annum. Location: Homebased (preferably living in the South of England). Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week. A bit about the role As a Regional Estates Manager for the South of England you will manage by forward planning and lead site based outsource maintenance providers, to ensure that their work is carried out in accordance with statutory, regulatory and safety standards, completed to agreed specification (including time and cost), represent value for money, to meet the local operational needs and expectations. How you'll help to create brighter futures Supporting the planning and delivery of corporate core objectives as set out by our ELT (Executive Leadership Team) and Director of Estates. Reporting into our Head of Estates, driven by an effective and responsive property services delivery methodology. Continuously improving the relationship with the local operational teams. Leading by example with first hand visibility to maintain the One-Team ethos with quality, safety and value at its core. Working with the supply chain to effectively design, forward plan, monitor and report on the delivery of the annual planned preventative maintenance schedule for a range of electrical, mechanical, and building fabric assets based on SFG20 principles and industry best practices. Selecting the best maintenance strategies for each property to mitigate operational risk, ensure business continuity and return best value for money. Playing a leading role with periodic monitoring / audits / quality assurance of planned and reactive services delivery across the estate, SLA compliance, KPI reporting, the accuracy of statutory compliance reporting, implementation of safe systems of works and value for money. Conducting regular surveys to establish asset condition, life cycle, operational risk and investment needs including inspections of plant, systems, equipment. Being the key point of contact for the local operational team on all property, technical, compliance, building fabric matters and with the planning and management of various project works. Let's talk about you Experience of facilities management, building maintenance, SFG20, construction working practices and procedures, Health & Safety, and experience of contract management. Supply Chain Management, engineering statutory compliance and audits/quality assurance. Experience of reactive maintenance, engineering trouble shooting, effective interpretation of supply-chain service sheets / reports to establish the accuracy and relevance of remedial and / or improvement works. Sound all-round knowledge of all building service disciplines including heating, cooling, ventilating, electrical, environmental, is required. Good knowledge of building fabric assets and its maintenance requirements. Sound knowledge and experience of quality assurance, asset audits and surveys. Strong customer relationship management skills, able to engage with all key stakeholders. Ability to build and develop positive working relationships with the wider team and Service Partners. Strong experience of managing FM contracts, supply chain management, service providers' behaviours, gained in demanding service delivery environments. Experience of risk management, i.e., control, mitigation and / or elimination. Understanding of Environmental Management Compliance requirements and ISO 14001.
