HYBRID - Work From Home / M4 Corridor (Slough/West Drayton/Hayes) / Office Location (Maidenhead)
Role Purpose:
We are seeking a BMS Commissioning Engineer - Data Centres. This is a hybrid role, but candidates must be within comfortable travelling distance of Slough/West Drayton/Hayes and the office location in Maidenhead. The successful candidate will be an experienced BMS commissioning engineer with primary technical knowledge of the Trend BMS system and experience of working within the building controls industry, as well as an understanding of mechanical plant. Time spent working within data centre environments would be looked on favourably.
What you will be doing:
As a BMS Commissioning Engineer - Data Centres, you will be responsible for BMS control strategy design, engineering, and commissioning of BMS systems. You will have proven diagnostic skills and be able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems, including familiarity with panel wiring and schematic diagrams and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
What experience you'll have:
1. BMS commissioning experience with primary technical knowledge of the Trend BMS system
2. Experience with Schneider EcoStruxture, Tridium, ALC would be beneficial
3. Experience of working within the building controls industry and an understanding of mechanical plant
4. You must have experience of BMS control strategy design, engineering, and commissioning of BMS systems
5. Be familiar with panel wiring and schematic diagrams
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
8. Well organised and works well under pressure
9. Be located within comfortable travelling distance of Slough/West Drayton/Hayes
10. Full UK driving licence
11. PC literate
12. Hold a CSCS skill card or equivalent
