We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children in Need (CIN) of Support & Protection team. Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of children and families who are at risk or in need of support and protection.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks associated with children and families.
Develop and implement effective intervention plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners.
Provide supervision and support to junior social workers and other team members, offering guidance and expertise.
Ensure the implementation of statutory processes and compliance with child protection policies and procedures.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of intervention plans and make necessary adjustments to meet the needs of families.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with local authority standards.
Requirements
A Social Work degree or equivalent qualification and registration with the relevant regulatory body.
Significant experience in social work, particularly in child protection or child welfare.
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and frameworks related to child protection.
Excellent assessment and analytical skills to evaluate complex family situations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with families and multi-agency teams.
Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload while maintaining a high standard of practice.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of best practices in social work.

Pay Per Hour: £28.70
