As a People Services Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of administrative services and support across the organisation. You will facilitate critical processes, support employees, and contribute to a positive workplace environment. You will work closely with the wider People team, management, and employees to support a range of functions, including onboarding, record management, benefits administration, and employee engagement. Assist with on boarding new hires, including processing contracts, right to work documentation and DBS checks. Complete reference requests. Change of contracts for current employees. Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers across the business and manage queries from the shared mailbox. Maintain and update the company organisational chart, controlling vacancy requests in-line with budget headcount, ensuring approval to recruit is received. Production of daily and weekly reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date data. Collaborate with the People team to improve processes and enhance service delivery. Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Helpful skills and qualifications Don’t worry about ticking off every single skill here − if you care about delivering great experiences as much as we do, we want to hear from you Proven experience within an administration role, ideally in a People Services or HR setting. Educated GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to liaise with the wider business, managers, employees and candidates. Excellent, accurate typing skills to compose business letters and related correspondence, with demonstrable knowledge of Word and Excel. Strong customer and quality focus, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships. Mail merge knowledge would be an advantage. Basic knowledge of employment law in relation to contracts, salary and eligibility to work in the UK would be an advantage.
