Job Description:
On behalf of a key client based in the southwest, we are resourcing for an Electrical Project Manager / Engineer to join their existing team working between both the office and our nationwide sites.
Responsibilities will include:
1. High and Low Voltage installation work when required.
2. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance when required.
3. High and low Voltage electrical design, plant specification, and liaising with subcontracted designers for High Voltage.
4. Completing analysis of site performance to make improvements to ongoing projects.
5. Identifying, recording, and responding to faults with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
6. Completing designs and documentation.
7. Reviewing and monitoring all asset-managed renewable energy sites on a rota basis, including weekend cover.
Essential Requirements:
1. City and Guilds 2391 or Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification.
2. BS7671 18th Edition.
3. High Voltage experience.
4. Methodical, accurate, and process-focused.
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
6. Computer literacy.
7. Driving license.
8. Flexibility for working throughout the UK, including evenings.
9. Minimum 5 years working within the renewables sector.
Desired Skills:
1. Experience of working in PV installation and maintenance, together with onshore.
2. CAD experience.
3. Experience in communications set-up.
4. HV Authorised Person / Switching.
5. 18th Edition amendment knowledge.
