Teacher of History Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging History lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Teach across Key Stages, fostering curiosity and critical thinking among students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development. Differentiate lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation. Work closely with colleagues and leadership teams to continuously improve teaching strategies. Promote good behaviour and classroom management in line with the school's policies. Support students in preparing for exams, coursework, and assessments. Requirements that need in a History Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History or a related field. Experience as a History Teacher is essential. Strong subject knowledge in British and world history. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
