Job overview
This post will be based at the Maxillofacial Department at Peter Mount Building.
You will work as part of a team providing comprehensive and flexible administrative support among our sub-specialty teams. The work is challenging and varied, providing high-quality admin support for consultants and their teams, as well as a reception service and dealing with patient telephone inquiries.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to join our friendly Patient Services team, who are committed to delivering a high-quality service. You will have attention to detail and the ability to prioritize your own work to meet deadlines. You will have good interpersonal skills liaising with patients, medical and nursing staff, as well as colleagues across the division.

Main duties of the job

Our Patient services are vital for patient care with over 90,000 patient visits per year. Team members working in these service areas are usually the first point of contact for our patients, setting the quality standard for their journey within the hospital. Excellent customer service skills are essential to provide our patients with the experience you would wish for yourself, your relatives, and loved ones.
You will preferably have some customer/patient-facing experience in a busy environment and you will need to be adaptable and committed to an important role. Full training for the whole range of duties is provided. You will be supported and welcomed to the Manchester Dental Hospital.
