Main duties of the job This role reports into the Head of System Workforce and will take the lead in the oversight, reporting and delivery of a variety of system-wide programmes and initiatives associated with people-related issues such as workforce planning, retention, cost, absence and turnover rates and movement across organisations. In addition, the postholder will be required to produce progress updates and other papers for Board-level presentation and to review, interpret and report on people-related data. The postholder will be required to deputise for the Head of System Workforce as needed and will regularly engage with colleagues in NHS and related organisations across the region in order to drive forward initiatives and act as a critical friend when required. The role is substantively based in Lewes although the postholder will largely work from home with minimal supervision.
