Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Insight Analytics Engineer to join an award-winning business intelligence agency based in Bristol. You’ll be part of a talented, multi-disciplinary team, working at the intersection of data, engineering, and commercial strategy to deliver cutting-edge solutions for global clients.
What you’ll be doing:
This role is all about providing insights and analysis to answer critical business questions. Your ability to interpret data and communicate findings will be instrumental in shaping strategy and delivering value to clients. You’ll also be involved in strategic decision making and driving the business forward, as well as mentoring team members.
This is not just a coding role – we need someone with ambition, presentation skills, leadership instincts, and a growth mindset. You’ll grow in this role and career will evolve into taking ownership of key projects, proactively identifying opportunities, and helping to commercialize new ideas while mentoring and supporting the team.
What experience you’ll need to apply:
* A strong understanding of analytics, reporting and data engineering
* Experience with Python, Apache Spark, R (e.g. NumPy/Pandas/SQL)
* Knowledge of data warehouses like Databricks and Snowflake
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Strong skills in data visualization and analysis tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Strong client-facing skills and the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly
What you’ll get in return:
A salary of between £45,000-£70,000 DOE (hiring across multiple levels) per annum, plus an exciting package. They also have a great flexible working scheme which can work for you, it includes compressed hour options, flexible working and flexibility with office days – provided that you can commit (to the minimum of) one day a week in their Bristol office where they catch up in person.
