We are currently looking for a highly motivated and innovative PE teacher to be part of our rapidly growing UK campus. Fairview International School offers the IB Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programme. As such, experience of the IB is preferred, but not essential as we would offer training for the right candidate. This role would primarily be teaching PHE to our MYP students and SEHS to DP students. With a strong link to the University of Stirling and a growing cohort of excellent Sports Scholars we are keen to encourage further community relationships that can best support our commitment to sport, athletics, health, and wellbeing.
We are seeking to appoint a candidate:
* who is enthusiastic and has a passion for delivering inspiring and exciting lessons
* who can deliver a balanced and differentiated curriculum to all pupils which is supportive and challenging
* who has excellent classroom organisation and management skills
* with high expectations of themselves and their students
* who is dedicated and keen to make a significant contribution to raising the attainment and progress of their students further and to producing successful, independent learners for the future
* who is flexible / adaptable and can ‘react’ to ever changing day to day situations within a school environment
* possess the willingness to commit to Extra Curricular activities which greatly enhance the IB experience for our students
* A specialism in gymnastics, dance, or swimming would be beneficial
* Qualification to teach Sports, Exercise and Health Science would be an advantage.
