£58,596 to £71,797 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

A fantastic opportunity has become available to lead the Corporate Finance Team in the role of Head of Finance – Corporate, reporting to the Director of Financial Management.
As the leader of the Corporate Finance Team, you will be responsible for the collation and coordination of the group management accounts, development of the group financial statements, leading the budgeting and planning process for the university, as well as management of the external audit process and treasury activity.
Following the successful implementation of a new finance, HR and procurement system, you will play a key role in maximizing the benefit of the new system through improved reporting, financial analysis, and financial control.
The ideal candidate:
* Has extensive experience in coordinating and producing financial statements complying with accounting standards.
* Has experience of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a large and complex organization.
* Is a strong communicator at all levels.
* Demonstrates team leadership.
* Has experience of supporting change management.
