If so, then we have the role for you This is Alexander Faraday Recruitment are exciting to be working with a food services company who are seeking a Contract Costing Quality Assurance Manager. This is a unique role supporting the business in all areas of contract pricing, ensuring the accuracy and alignment of the master price lists to agreed commercial and contractual frameworks. This role will also lead a team of 5 Costing Analysts. What Youll Be Doing: Take accountability of contract pricing for specific customers Create detailed pricing worksheets at the gross profit level and compile master price lists Work closely with Analysts to provide detailed explanations for cost variances Monitor gross profit movements, providing reports and recommending changes Assist the Sales team during tenders and menu presentations Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate billing Manage a team of Analysts, overseeing workload, performance, holidays, sickness etc. Support the recruitment and training of your team, helping them reach their full potential Maintain a clean and accurate data system, ensuring an audit trail for all documents Produce ad-hoc customer reporting for senior management as required What Youll Bring: Advanced Excel and database skills Detailed understanding of food production methods and costing Strong financial awareness, particularly in pricing policies, food cost, and labour values High level of analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills During your induction this will be an office based role, once you are confident in the role you will have the option to work from home 2 days per week.
