Responsibilities and Duties
As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing your compliance portfolio, assisting both directors and partners in managing their work, as well as working closely with juniors to ensure award winning standards are upkept. The role additionally involves the opportunity to seek out advisory projects. There are a wide variety of clients and the role provides career development and progression. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
7. Undertake and review Company Tax Returns for your portfolio of clients
8. Tackle advisory pieces where necessary within your client portfolio
9. Assist with due-diligence and transactional work when required
10. Gain a broader understanding of other areas of taxation including R&D tax credits, international tax matters, employment tax, and VAT matters
11. Monitor junior staff performance and provide essential feedback as well as tend to their necessary training requirements
12. Ensure robust procedures within the firm utilising HMRC guidance and tax legislation
13. Liaising directly with partners in order to assist with their portfolio management.
Requirements
Candidates will need to be fully ACA/ACCA/CA or CTA qualified with the ability to deliver an excellent service to their clients.
