Role Overview:
The IT Support and Social Media Assistant will play a dual role, ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization and managing the company's online presence to enhance its visibility and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Support:
* Provide technical support to staff and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
* Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software.
* Monitor and maintain computer networks to ensure optimal performance.
* Implement and manage data security and backup procedures.
* Assist in developing and enforcing IT policies and procedures.
Social Media Assistant:
* Create, curate, and manage engaging content across social media platforms.
* Support marketing campaigns, including social media promotions and Google Ads.
* Manage the organization’s website updates and ensure consistent branding.
* Draft and distribute press releases and coordinate public relations campaigns.
* Provide support to the Senior members and step in during their absence.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in various operating systems and software.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide excellent technical support.
* Proven experience in managing and optimizing social media and marketing campaigns.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven experience in creating and managing engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
* Proficiency in video editing, graphic design, and multimedia content creation tools.
* Expertise in running paid social media advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
* Strong understanding of analytics tools to track and improve campaign performance.
* Ability to plan, produce, and edit high-quality videos and graphics for online engagement.
* Knowledge of SEO and strategies for growing an online presence organically and through paid efforts.
* A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 (depending on experience)
