MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading Manufacturing Business on the search for a Project Manager. This is a perm role based in Preston.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to establish a comprehensive process and controls for developing project financials for approval, including support for business cases for larger initiatives, managing project expenditure timelines, and forecasting future spending.
* Assist the senior project team in implementing the engineering strategy and framework for the assigned project.
* Oversee the management of materials, equipment, and labour within the designated budget and resources, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient service delivery on the project.
* Communicate all systems, design information, procedures, and quality systems effectively.
* Provide technical support to project delivery teams by reviewing and verifying their work.
* Lead or assist with project assurance by conducting audits and holding regular meetings with project teams, identifying best practices, areas for improvement, and concerns related to safety, finance, or quality.
What are we looking for?
* HND/BEng or equivalent
* Experience leading a team/managing projects
