What does the role of a Managing Recruitment Consultant look like:
* Building a prospective client list using various business development methods
* Convert prospective clients using an effective sales strategy
* Develop relationships via telephone and face-to-face meetings
* Negotiate fees and provide relevant market information
* Source candidates for open roles via database searches, headhunting, and advertising online
* Qualify candidates by meeting them face-to-face and conducting a thorough CV discussion
* Support candidates throughout the recruitment process including interview preparation and offer negotiation
* Coach and mentor consultants in the team, providing them with advice and support
* Conduct monthly and weekly 121's with the team
* Daily and weekly check-ins with team members
* Attend leadership meetings within the business
* Support with organising events for the wider office and team
Skills required:
* Recruitment or sales experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment
* Management experience
* A hunger for sales and business development with the ability to nurture relationships
* Being adaptable and working strategically (and at pace!), with good time management and a positive attitude
* Passionate, driven, and tenacious
* Confident with the ability to build rapport with people at all levels
