To support the Head of Tournament Business with matters relating to communicating to tournament promoters and stakeholders, tournament scheduling and administration duties for tournament contract updates or amendments and new tournament development, while ensuring a high standard and effective communication is delivered across all internal teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following:
Promoter Relations
* Help to maintain positive relationships with Promoters through a programme of regular contact and positive interactions.
* Coordinate promoter communications and database updates.
* Develop and work on post tournament feedback procedures so that relevant information can be shared both internally and with promoters with the aim of improving procedures and practices for future tournaments.
Tournament Contracts
* Work closely with internal Operations, Communication, Commercial and Finance teams to ensure organisation-wide awareness of relevant contractual matters and the delivery of LEGV and Promoter obligations.
* Facilitate accurate transferring of information from contracts to other internal departments.
* Assist with regular communications between Tournament Business and the Finance team to ensure Promoters comply with the agreed timetables for contract-related payments to LEGV.
* Work closely with the Head of Tournament Business to support the preparation and execution of contractual promoter agreements.
Commercial Partners and Tournament Guests
* Assist with the organisation of Tournament guest programmes. (Hospitality and pro-am guests).
* Participate in other activity related to partner and guest relations which may be delivered alongside colleagues from other departments.
* Awareness of other commercial conversations and renewals which may impact promoters and tournament assets, including broadcasting discussions.
New Business and Special Projects
* Assisting the Head of Tournament Business with new tournament enquiries.
* Design and assist with new tournament sales decks, that are regularly updated during the season.
* Provide support to the Head of Tournament Business on additional tournament projects and promoter led initiatives (season launch event).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
* Degree or equivalent in Business, Sports, Marketing or a related field.
* 1-3 years of related work experience.
* Microsoft Office365.
* Knowledge of PowerPoint (producing sales decks).
* Relationship management with external partners and stakeholders.
* Problem-solving ability and Strong communication (both written and verbal).
* Organizational skills & self-motivated and detail oriented.
* Strong sense of teamwork.
* Contract development / preparation (preferred experience).
Location:
* Hybrid working, some attendance at the LET Office required.
* Attendance at 1-3 tournaments during the season.
Salary Expectations:
£26-£30k plus benefits. Dependent on experience.
