ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Youth Worker to work in a secondary school that caters to students with Autism, Learning difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
About the role:
The Youth Worker will be supporting young people with Special educational needs in small group classes.
Building a strong rapport with the students to encourage them to attend and thrive in school
Following the guidance of the teacher but knowing the students well enough to deal with any conflicts
Working 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday

A secondary purpose built specialist school catering for students aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs which include:- Moderate, Severe and Profound Learning Disabilities, Sensory Impairment, Communication Difficulties, Autism/ADHD, Social and Emotional Mental Health Difficulties, Physical Disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy or Spina Bifida and Complex Medical Conditions.
