We have an opportunity for a highly motivated individual, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to join the library service. The post is an average of 19hrs per week over 2 weeks, and based at Airedale Library. Week 1 Monday 1:30pm - 5:15pm Tuesday 9:15am - 5:15pm Friday 2:15pm - 5:15pm Saturday 9:15am - 1.15pm Week 2 Tuesday 9:15am - 17:15pm Wednesday 2:30pm - 7:15pm Friday 9:15am - 5:15pm You will be responsible for providing a high standard of customer service that exceeds customer expectations and enhances our library service profile by contributing to the delivery of a comprehensive events programme. You will have: • a positive and flexible approach • excellent interpersonal skills • previous experience in a customer facing environment • a good standard of ICT proficiency, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programmes and web-based packages • a calm approach when dealing with complex and stressful situations • the ability to engage and interact appropriately with both adults and children • the ability to encourage and motivate customers to participate in activities which enhances the customer experience.
