Role Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic graduates who are passionate about supporting children and considering a long-term career in education or related fields. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have a vital role in the academic and personal development of our students. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to build experience and skills in a nurturing and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personalized support to students with a variety of SEN needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other learning challenges.
* Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lessons and resources for SEN students.
* Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, supporting the social and emotional well-being of all students.
* Help students build independence, self-esteem, and social skills.
* Work closely with the SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other staff to monitor and assess student progress.
* Participate in training and professional development to deepen your understanding of SEN support.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in any field.
* A genuine desire to work with children and make a positive difference in their lives.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and resilience.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* Willingness to gain experience with SEN learners (previous experience is a plus but not required).
