Working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant and Financial Accountants, you will be involved in statutory reporting, auditing, and various financial functions across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities Support the senior finance team in preparing year-end statutory accounts and audit processes. This includes gathering information for the statutory accounts and coordinating data requested by auditors. Assist in compiling data for corporation tax packs. Help ensure compliance with financial requirements outlined in contracts and leases with local authorities and other partners, including preparing financial statements, fee calculations, and benchmark reports. Manage the processing of contractual invoices, such as management fees, rent, and income shares. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. Assist in preparing financial reports for board presentations and fulfilling any additional duties as assigned by management. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and keen to further their career in finance. They will: Be working towards or have a desire to pursue an accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA. Have previous experience in a management accounts or financial reporting environment. Be comfortable working with large datasets, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines. Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage and process significant amounts of information. Possess strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with non-financial stakeholders. Be IT proficient, particularly with spreadsheets. Be capable of working both independently and as part of a wider finance team.
