Position: Teaching Assistant

Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Salary: GBP12.83 - GBP14.54 per hour
Reeson Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in the WN2 area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young learners in EYFS or KS1.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting the class teacher, delivering engaging learning activities, and supporting pupils with SEND when required.
Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
1. Provide classroom-based support to EYFS or KS1 pupils.
2. Work alongside the class teacher to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
3. Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
4. Assist with individual and small-group activities to reinforce learning.
5. Offer targeted support to a child with SEND if required.
6. Help create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:
1. Experience working with EYFS or KS1 pupils (desirable but not essential).
2. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
3. Ability to build strong relationships with young children.
4. Passion for supporting early childhood development.
5. Commitment to a long-term Teaching Assistant role in a mainstream primary school.
