Location: Sutton in Ashfield
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract. Either full or part-time
Pay Rate: £30 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Music Therapist:
* Assess clients' needs and design individualized music therapy treatment plans.
* Use musical activities such as playing instruments, singing, composing, or listening to music for therapeutic purposes.
* Monitor and evaluate patients' progress during therapy sessions.
* Document sessions and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed.
* Provide emotional support to clients and their families through the therapeutic use of music.
Requirements of the Music Therapist:
* Registered with the HCPC
* Strong musical proficiency (ability to play instruments, sing, and compose music).
* Knowledge of psychology and therapeutic techniques.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Empathy and patience to work with diverse populations.
* Ability to assess and adapt therapy to the unique needs of individuals.
