Role Accountabilities:
1. Collecting hazardous & non-hazardous waste in a Class 1 curtain-sided/tail lift vehicle.
2. Cover provided for Class 1 vehicle and drag unit.
3. Daily duties will involve some heavy lifting, including lifting of drums (up to 25 kg) and moving pallets using a pump truck.
4. Working together with our transport depot to ensure excellent service is delivered to our long-serving customers.
5. Forming part of our on-call rota, completing out-of-hours emergency work when required.
6. Visiting our commercial customer premises, collecting industrial waste.
Person Specification
The Candidate:
1. Previous relevant driving experience.
2. Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
3. High level of written and mathematical skills, as there will be paperwork involved.
4. A flexible approach to the role.
5. ADR Licence is an advantage but not essential as training can be given.
6. Experience of working in the waste sector.
7. Maths and English GCSE minimum requirement.
