You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our network infrastructure, ensuring its stability and efficiency. You will develop and enforce network security policies, troubleshoot network-related issues, and have an interactive approach to leading a small team of IT professionals. The successful candidate, will collaborate with external vendors, maintain comprehensive documentation whilst ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Network Management: Design, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure, including DR, LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Network Security: Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorised access, cyber threats, and data breaches. System Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of network hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimise downtime and ensure seamless operations. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of IT projects, alongside excellent customer service. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure and manage network equipment and services. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of disaster recovery, network configurations, processes, and procedures. Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network security and data protection. Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects, including network upgrades, expansions, and migrations. Budget Control: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient allocation of resources. Monitoring expenses and forecasting future budget needs.
