Your role
Your Duties Will Include
1. Safety First: Ensuring the safety and well-being of all customers and crew by maintaining the highest safety standards in line with company policies/procedures and in accordance with Aer Lingus UK Operations Manuals and regulatory requirements.
2. Problem-Solving: Proven ability to deal with situations as they arise.
3. Teamwork: Collaborating closely with fellow flight and cabin crew to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
4. Communication: Excellent communicator, able to effectively communicate with the crew on board and demonstrate good CRM skills with various partners (such as handling agents) and passengers.
The Recruitment Process
1. CV submission to Aer Lingus
2. Telephone interview by Aer Lingus to verify experience and suitability for the role
3. Teams interview with Aer Lingus UK Flight Operations and HR
4. Psychometric & aptitude evaluations
5. Sim assessment
6. Intoxicant screening
Job Entry Requirements
Your qualifications and key criteria
1. Minimum age of 18 years
2. Eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction
3. Must be able to apply for and obtain relevant US immigration/entry visas which is a pre-requisite for the role (for travel to/from the United States).
4. Hold a valid passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel
5. Ability to report for duty within 120 minutes when on standby duty
6. UK CAA issued ATPL or ATPL (f) licence
7. A minimum total flying time of 1,500 hours, with at least 1,000 hours on an Airbus type (preferably A330 or A320)
8. A fully funded CCQ onto the A330 will be provided by Aer Lingus for suitable candidates who require it (this will be bonded for 2 years)
9. LPC must be valid upon commencement
10. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
11. ELP level 5 required
12. Flexibility and adaptability to working shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays and overnights
13. Able to pass an airport security vetting procedure, including a five-year background check
