Kennedys, a global law firm is seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and innovative HR Assistant to join its growing firm and support across multiple HR functions. Team The US HR team is based in Basking Ridge, NJ, and is responsible for Business Partnering, Recruitment, Reward, HR Systems and Analytics, Learning and Development, Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity and Inclusion. Key Responsibilities Assist daily with a variety of essential HR related tasks in the areas of Recruitment, Benefits/Payroll, and/or Professional Development/D&I Tasks include, but are not limited to, interview scheduling, onboarding, spreadsheets maintenance, report compilations, research and other ad hoc support to the immediate team Provide timely responses to requests from internal and external stakeholders Escalation point for administrative queries from the HR Administrators Work effectively as part of a team while also owning independent work for specific tasks and projects Drive process improvement by identifying areas of improvement/development Manage key processes for the team as required Understand the role of the team and how this fits into the wider business. Required Experience Prior work experience in an office setting or similar, preferred Strong level of IT literacy and numeracy skills Ability to balance a wide range of tasks at any one time Ability to think on your feet and adapt in a fast-paced and fast-changing law firm Possess the necessary gravitas and credibility to interact with Senior Management Flexible and resilient with strong problem solving skills Please let us know if you require any additional support or adjustments to be made in order to submit your application to Kennedys.
