Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:
* Support Operations Leader in defining the weekly maintenance priorities, minimizing impact on product commitments.
* Understand OEE losses and propose an improvement plan in conjunction with the operative team. Implement OEE tools to capture losses in real-time. Support the development of an improvement plan to improve site capacity.
* Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support, mainly related to software and technical/quality issues. Day-to-day responsibility for providing technical expertise and diagnosing and solving problems (initiate MOC and RCA if required).
* Implement Lean Six Sigma tools.
* Engage in a professional development programme to support progression through the company.
To be successful in this position as Process Engineer, an established technical background with experience in a production or operations environment on a chemical site (ideally COMAH site) is required. The minimum qualification for this role is a Chemical Process Engineering degree or equivalent and 5-10 years' experience.
