This Process Engineer position is with a globally leading chemical manufacturing company that is investing heavily in their site over the next 2-3 years. Multiple multi-million pound projects have been and are continuing to be sanctioned to provide upgrades and renovations on the site.

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:
1. Support Operations Leader in defining the weekly maintenance priorities, minimizing impact on product commitments.
2. Understand OEE losses and propose improvement plans in conjunction with the operative team. Implement OEE tools to capture losses in real time. Support developing an improvement plan to improve site capacity.
3. Day-to-day troubleshooting support, mainly related to software and technical/quality issues. Day-to-day responsibility for providing technical expertise and diagnosing and solving problems (initiate MOC and RCA if required).
4. Implement Lean Six Sigma tools.
5. Engage in a professional development program to support progression through the company.
To be successful in this position as Process Engineer, an established technical background with experience in a production or operations environment on a chemical site (ideally COMAH site) is required. The minimum qualification for this role is a Chemical Process Engineering degree or equivalent and 5-10 years of experience.
