The post holder will ensure the efficient running of the Planning Policy team and be responsible for monitoring the implementation of the adopted LDP and coordinating the statutory review of the plan.
The post holder will direct the Planning Policy team and provide leadership and guidance to drive forward the Policy section by identifying co-ordinated work streams which contribute towards the Council's wider strategic objectives.
Actively developing, co-ordinating and integrating the Policy section with other parts of the Planning Department, as well as raising awareness of the role of the Policy team within the Authority., All employees are required to comply with their individual and organisational responsibilities under the Data Protection Act, the Information Security Policy and relevant supporting operational policies. Any breach of confidentiality may lead to disciplinary action.
Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
