A recent leaver has created the following role for a Domestic Services Supervisor:
1 x 37.5 hours per week (07:00-15:00 Monday to Friday)
With a degree of flexibility in hours to meet service requirements
Applicants will assist in the provision and maintenance of a high quality, specialised cleaning service to both ward and departmental areas within the main Truro site.
This is a key post vital in adherence to the Trusts hygiene and control of infection measures and guidelines
To provide effective supervision and support to the domestic staff within the Domestic Services and to be responsible for co-ordination of duties throughout the Department within an allocated area. To organise the allocation of staff within the Department, so that all duties are covered by the flexible use of staff to ensure the smooth running of the service.
To be instrumental in the development of quality initiatives and in ensuring good cleaning service and the adherence to Trust policies and procedures with particular reference to the Trust’s Control of Infection policies and National Standards. This post is a key link between the staff and management for the further development of the service for both patients and staff.
To liaise directly with hospital ward personnel and patients as part of the Department’s quality initiatives.
